My name is John Humphreys and I am from New York.  I am currently the VP of Platform Tools at Nielsen.

I have developed software in chemical engineering plants, embedded military systems, in finance for both data providers and banks, and most recently in media/audience-measurement.  Currently, I  am running a developer tooling org where we provide a full set of internally developed PaaS and SaaS style services to cater to all of our internal developers’ needs (SCM, compute/containerization, orchestration, big-data/query, monitoring & logging, cleanrooms, q&a, bots, gen-ai, secure proxies, and more).

My current focus areas are AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, and general platform design – and of course, I always love to code.
